I’m a writer, researcher, and public health professional.

I write literary fiction and am currently completing my first novel.

Working in community health education and addiction science research gave me insight into the experiences of financial precarity, loneliness, and institutional burnout that shaped this novel. My writing has been featured in academic journals such as Substance Use and Misuse and Harm Reduction Journal. You can read my academic papers here.

When I’m not writing, you can find me collaging with my family’s vintage National Geographic magazines and meeting as many street cats as possible. I’m based in Los Angeles.
